Our Pre-K and Kindergarten class prepares young learners for school. Through stories, games and short, lively activities, children build early numeracy and literacy alongside their first Islamic Studies, Quran and Arabic.

Subjects

  • Mathematics: counting, numbers, shapes and patterns
  • English: phonics, letter formation and early reading
  • Islamic Studies: Islamic manners and stories of the prophets
  • Quran: short surahs and the Noorani Qaida
  • Arabic: the Arabic letters and first words

Our approach

We use the American curriculum as our base, but our lessons are developed from it and inspired by Islamic values rather than taken from a set book. The focus is on skills, with a structured programme that supports home-schooled children.

How classes work

Every class is taught live on Zoom by a passionate teacher, in a small group of up to 12 children. Even in a group, teachers assess each child and pitch the lesson to their level. Concepts are explained in class; afterwards children get a mix of traditional homework and creative assignments. Homework matters, so we ask parents to help with it. Our admins are always available for feedback if you feel your child's classes need adjusting.
