Tiny Tots is our early-years class for children aged 2 to 4. We learn through stories: the children listen to a story, then we check what they understood and the new words they met. The activities and crafts that follow are built on the same story and subject, insha Allah.

Subjects

  • Stories: listening, understanding and new words
  • Phonics: letter sounds and early vocabulary
  • Crafts: hands-on activities linked to the story of the day
  • Quran basics: short surahs, daily duas and the Arabic letters

Our approach

We use the American curriculum as our base, but our lessons are developed from it and inspired by Islamic values rather than taken from a set book. The focus is on skills, with a structured programme that supports home-schooled children.

How classes work

Every class is taught live on Zoom by a passionate teacher, in a small group of up to 12 children. Even in a group, teachers assess each child and pitch the lesson to their level. Concepts are explained in class; afterwards children get a mix of traditional homework and creative assignments. Homework matters, so we ask parents to help with it. Our admins are always available for feedback if you feel your child's classes need adjusting.
